Preparing Online School Students for Graduation in Oregon
Willamette Connections Academy works closely with families to ensure that students understand graduation requirements in Oregon and have the support they need to fulfill those requirements. Our comprehensive high school curriculum is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the classroom—long after graduation.
EARN YOUR HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA IN OREGON
Students who attend online school and meet Oregon graduation requirements receive the same diploma as their peers who attend brick-and-mortar public schools in the state.
How Many Credits Do You Need to Graduate High School in Oregon?
Students must successfully earn a minimum of 24 credits to graduate. Be sure to check your school handbook for updates. The course credits required to graduate are included below.
Willamette Connections Academy High School Credit Requirements
- Language arts: 4 credits
- Math: 3 credits (including Algebra 1 or above)
- Science: 3 credits (a minimum of 2 Science credits must be designated lab Science courses)
- Social Studies: 3 credits
- Health: 1 credit
- Physical Education: 1 credit
- Second Language, The Arts, Career & Technical Education: 3 credits
- Electives: 6 credits
